Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is all set to move to China for the next step of his career having agreed a £1 million per week contract in Asia. The Welsh international will depart Real Madrid during one of the club's most successful periods in their history.

  • The arrival of Eden Hazard has left Bale seeking a new challenge and it appears that the player has opted to join Jiangsu Suning on a three-year contract.

The 30-year-old will be one of the highest paid footballers in the world as per the terms of his new contract and will continue to boost the profile of the game in Asia and beyond.

It is understood that Real Madrid have secured a fee of around 75 million euros for Bale and that manager Zinedine Zidane has already said his goodbyes to the Welsh star.

According to reports from China, the move is set to be announced as soon as next Tuesday and the player will fly in to his new home country this weekend for a medical.
