Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has completed the transfer to Inter Milan from Manchester United following an extended period of speculation over his future.
The 26-year-old had been linked with the Nerazzurri since the beginning of the transfer window but the Red Devils were reluctant to accept a fee less than their £80m asking price.
However, the Serie A giants managed to find the breakthrough on Wednesday where they agreed on a £74m package and a move to the San Siro has now been made official.
Speaking to the Nerazzurri's official website, Lukaku stressed that he always wanted to link up with manager Antonio Conte, he said: "Inter were the only club I wanted. I'm here to bring the Nerazzurri back to the top."
Despite Lukaku's departure, United did not pursue a replacement and they are now expected to depend on the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Alexis Sanchez upfront with a young Mason Greenwood providing the back-up.
