Barcelona have reportedly made a fresh bid to secure the services of former player Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blaugrana have sought to re-sign Neymar since the beginning of the Spanish transfer window and they have only one week left to finalise a deal with Les Parisiens.
Amidst this, it has been claimed that league rivals Real Madrid have joined the race to land the Brazil international but the Spanish champions remain determined to beat their fierce competitors to the attacker.
According to Telefoot, the Catalan giants have now increased the amount of cash for the Brazilian and they are willing to offer Ousmane Dembele as a makeweight as part of the deal.
Dembele, who is currently sidelined for four weeks with an injury, is no longer regarded as a regular starter under manager Ernesto Valverde following the summer arrival of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere indicate that both Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani have sustained thigh injuries during Les Parisiens' 4-0 league win over Toulouse.
A long-term injury for one of the duo could witness Neymar's departure blocked until the turn of the year at the least. Neymar has not been involved for Les Parisiens since the start of the campaign.
