Manchester United have received a triple injury boost for the forthcoming Premier League clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

  • Chelsea defender set to miss Man City clash
  • London club want to sign Chelsea defender

  • The Red Devils have had their fair share of injury concerns this season and that has genuinely hampered their performances on the playing field.

At present, United are languishing in the 12th spot with a five-point margin to the top four and they need to win games regularly to stay in touch with the Champions League places.

According to The Mirror, the Mancunian giants could be handed with a major boost for the Liverpool game with Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka likely to make their comebacks.

Elsewhere, Anthony Martial may also make a comeback from a hamstring injury but there are doubts regarding his fitness after suffering a minor recurrence of the problem last month.

United have a good league record against Liverpool with just one defeat from the previous 10 meetings but they face one of their toughest games in recent times with the Reds flourishing at the top of the table.

Jurgen Klopp's side have made a 100 percent start to the campaign and they are already favourites for the Premier League title with an eight-point gap over second-placed Manchester City.
