Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic won't be heading to Manchester United in January due to the influence of his family, a report from The Mail claims.
The Croatia international has made just one start in the Spanish La Liga this term with manager Ernesto Valverde preferring the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Arthur Melo and Sergio Busquets ahead of him in the selection order.
Owing to this, the Red Devils have been touted to lure him from the Camp Nou in the New Year but The Mail claims that the Croatian will turn down their advances.
It is added that his family are not keen on a move to the Premier League and Manchester, in particular, with the weather being one of the factors behind the decision.
Aside from United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Inter Milan have been heavily linked with the Croatian and there could be a bidding battle between the trio when the transfer window reopens in a few months' time.
