Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could reportedly push for a fresh challenge away from Arsenal, should the club fail to secure Champions League football for next season.
The Gunners were third on the league table with 15 points during the previous international break but they have since managed two draws and one defeat from the next three games.
As a result, they are already six points behind the top four places and that gap could extend further, should they succumb to a defeat at the hands of Leicester City next weekend.
According to Goal.com, Aubameyang has no intention of extending his contract beyond the summer of 2021 unless the club can qualify for next season's Champions League.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere claim that the north London side are most likely to sanction the Gabonese's sale next summer, should the marksman continue his contract standoff with the club.
Arsenal recently registered their fifth league draw of the season and that has brought question marks whether head coach Unai Emery is the right man to take the club forward.
