Barcelona in for Aubameyang

Barcelona enter the race to sign Arsenal striker

07 November 2019 - 19:52

Barcelona have reportedly joined Real Madrid in the hunt to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal during next summer's transfer window.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The Catalan giants have largely depended on Luis Suarez for the centre-forward duties and the Uruguayan has been consistent with his showing upfront.

Still, he has recently suffered a number of niggles and El Chiringuito claims that the Spanish champions are looking into a deal for another experienced marksman.

The same outlet suggests that Aubameyang is one of the players being looked at, given he would be entering the final year of his Gunners contract next summer.

Aubameyang has been a huge success for the Gunners since his move from Borussia Dortmund last year and he recently bagged his 50th goal for the north London giants.

Still, he is said to be assessing his future with the Capital outfit and he remains reluctant to pen a new contract unless the club are able to secure Champions League football for next season.
