Victor Lindelof is enjoying his time with Manchester United as he has featured in almost every Premier League game this season. Although United have conceded 12 goals this season, the centre-back has formed a great partnership with former Leicester player Harry Maguire at the back.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • His great displays for club and country earned him Sweden's Player of the Year last week. The defender spoke to reporters and praised former United manager José Mourinho after receiving the award. Lindelof said Mourinho was a great influence on his career at Old Trafford. He insists he will always be grateful to the Portuguese tactician.

Mourinho has been unemployed for the last 11 months but his wait for a job is likely to be over as he is linked with the Bayern Munich managerial role after Niko Kovac's sacking. The German giants are currently coached by caretaker manager Hansi Flick while they are looking for a permanent head coach.  Apart from Mourinho, other coaches like Massimiliano Allegri, Arsene Wenger, and Eric ten Hag are also on the club’s shortlist of coaching candidates.
