Chelsea are reportedly planning to reward new contracts to Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Reece James following their impressive performances during the first half of the season.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Abraham and Tomori have played nearly every game since the start of the campaign and their displays have recently been rewarded with roles with the England national side.

In comparison, Reece James has not been able to command a regular run of matches but he has recently impressed on the right side of the defence and got the better of Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha before the international break.

According to Goal.com, the Blues are set to hold talks over contract extensions with the trio and they are confident that an agreement will be reached with each of them in the near future.

Meanwhile, the Blues are also keen on extending the contract of young graduate Tino Anjorin, who has hugely impressed for the development side. The 17-year-old made his debut in the League Cup against Grimsby Town earlier this season.
