Manchester United boss drops triple injury boost ahead of Everton clash

13 December 2019 - 20:28

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that the likes of Eric Bailly, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Paul Pogba will return to training by the forthcoming week.

  • Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Chelsea, Jorginho starts
  • Dusan Vlahovic breaks silence amid Chelsea transfer talk

  • Bailly and Fosu-Mensah have been out since the beginning of the season with long-term knee ligament injuries but the duo seem set to join first-team training in the coming days.

Pogba, on the other hand, has been sidelined since the end of September with what has been deemed as an ankle fracture but Solskjaer is hopeful that the Frenchman will return to normal training next week.

Ahead of the Everton clash, Solskjaer said: "Next week Eric will start training, Tim will start training. Paul will probably start training with us next week properly so let's see."

Manchester United are currently in a bright run of form with three straight wins in all competitions and this includes fantastic results against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

The victories have propelled them to the fifth position in the Premier League standings and they are just five points adrift of Chelsea, who hold the final Champions League spot.
