Barcelona are still keen on offloading the out-of-favour midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the January transfer window, reports the Daily Mail.
The Croatian has been linked with a move to Manchester United while Juventus also had an offer rejected by Barca recently.
The report also adds that the ex-Sevilla man wouldn’t turn down if any lucrative deals from big clubs come knocking him in the transfer window.
Rakitic’s fall from grace has been evident in recent times as he was overlooked by Ernesto Valverde at the start of the season followed by Quique Setien, who appears to be reliant on Arturo Vidal.
Furthermore, the addition of Frenkie de Jong in the last summer also made life difficult for Rakitic at Camp Nou.
A report from ESPN claims that Man Utd have made a late approach for the Croatian, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks desperate to bolster the midfield following the injuries to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.
The 31-year-old’s contract is due to expire in 2021, having signed a contract extension in 2017.
