  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • In a recent interview, the Spaniard boss has said that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez should ring him up to get the services of the Belgian midfielder.

"Could De Bruyne play in Madrid? Florentino will have to call me," replied the ex- Barcelona boss, shrugging off the speculation in an amusing way.

De Bruyne has been the subject of interest from Madrid for quite some time alongside Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

The Belgian international turns out to be the key cog in the midfield for Guardiola and is in the middle of one of the best seasons he ever played in a City shirt. He has racked up 7 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League so far, making him one of the best midfielders in Europe at the moment if not the best.

The 28-year-old joined the Etihad outfit in 2015, and he holds the record for the fastest player in the Premier League to reach 50 assists.
