  • The Netherlands international parted ways with the Red Devils to join Ajax in the summer of 2018 and he has since revived his career and helped them reach the Champions League semi-final last term.

According to The Athletic, his bright form has caught the attention of the Gunners and manager Mikel Arteta, who is said to be a keen admirer of the Dutchman's versatility.

It is added that Blind has a small release clause in his existing deal with the Eredivisie champions and that will prove attractive for the Gunners, who are likely to work on a limited budget for the summer.

Arsenal have recently been fancied to part ways with Kieran Tierney, who has struggled to settle in his debut campaign with the club due to a couple of injury setbacks.

During this period, Bukayo Saka has benefited from a regular run at left-back ahead of Sead Kolasinac and there are also doubts regarding the future of the Bosnian.
