RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has said that he is presently focused on his duties at the Bundesliga outfit and will only evaluate his future at the end of the campaign.
The centre-back currently has a contract with Leipzig until the summer of 2021 but so far, he has shown no indication that he will extend his stay beyond that period.
As a result, he has been touted for a possible move away from the club with Arsenal and Bayern Munich said to be keeping a close watch on the proceedings.
When pressed on his future, Upamecano said that he is feeling 'very good' at Leipzig and will assess his options with his representative at the end of the current season,
"I am feeling very good at RB Leipzig. For the moment, I am still under contract until 2021. We will discuss my future at the end of the season with my agents and my family," he told Footmercato.
Upamecano had a £72m release clause last summer but that is expected to reduce to around £53m when he enters the final year of his contract. He has made 20 Bundesliga appearances this term.
