Liverpool hold no interest in re-signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

  • The Brazilian is currently on a loan stint at Bayern Munich but he is expected to return to the Camp Nou this summer with the German side unlikely to sign him on a permanent deal.

A recent report claimed that the Reds could possibly favour a reunion with Coutinho in the summer and the same has already been discussed between Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Michael Edwards.

However, according to The Mirror, that is clearly not the case and the Merseyside giants are not expected to make an approach for their former player during the next transfer window.

Coutinho, who has contributed eight goals and six assists in the German top-flight this season, could be available for a fee of around £90m during the summer.

He has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in recent weeks. The Blues are said to be keen on an initial loan deal for the former Internacional graduate.
