Inter Milan Diego Godin could reportedly consider a move to either Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur, having failed to nail down a regular starting role under Antonio Conte this term.

  • The Uruguay international made the move to the Nerazzurri on a free transfer last summer but he has since struggled for regular gametime and has made just 12 starts in the Serie A.

According to Tuttosport, he is expected to pursue a fresh challenge at the end of the campaign and a move to the Premier League could be on the cards with United or Spurs.

The same outlet suggests that the Red Devils may have the edge in signing the former Atletico Madrid star, having previously failed to land his signature at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have set their sights on signing Tottenham Hotspur's Jan Vertonghen as a direct replacement for Godin. The Belgian has yet to extend his contract with Spurs and will be available on a free transfer this summer.
