Arsenal are considering the prospect of selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer as they look to raise funds to spend on new signings.

  • The Armenian is presently on a season-long loan at AS Roma where he has impressed with six goals and four assists from 20 appearances in all competitions.

The Giallorossi are keen on retaining the attacker's services on a permanent basis and it appears that they could get him for a relatively affordable sum of £10m, TuttoMercatoWeb reports.

Mikel Arteta's side were initially aiming to demand at least £22m for the Armenian's sale but with the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, they have accepted that they can't expect clubs to meet their price tag.

Mkhitaryan's contract with the Gunners expires at the end of next season. Arteta has previously spoken about the prospect of working with the ex-Dortmund man but that appears highly unlikely to happen unless he puts pen-to-paper on a fresh deal.
