Chelsea have reportedly decided against triggering the buy-back clause in the contract of Jeremie Boga, who is currently at Sassuolo.
The Ivorian parted ways with the Blues for just £3.6m two years ago and he has since transformed his career with Sassuolo in the Serie A.
In the current season, he has been in good form for the Italian side with eight goals and four assists and this has led to the suggestion that they may trigger the buy-back option worth £13.4m.
However, Sport Mediaset suggests that won't be the case and the Blues are prepared to waive the clause for Sassuolo, if they are willing to pay around £10.4m.
Boga is currently attracting interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Napoli and they have a good chance of making a profit through his sale.
The Blues have already signed Hakim Ziyech to strengthen the wide attacking department. Frank Lampard has recently expressed the desire to extend the contracts of Pedro and Willian beyond the summer.
