Kai Havertz makes future transfer decision

Havertz prefers Real Madrid switch

Kai Havertz makes future transfer decision

16 June 2020 - 21:45

Germany international Kai Haverty could reportedly snub interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United as he is determined to join Real Madrid in the long-run.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The 21-year-old has been in fine form for Bayer Leverkusen this term and he has registered 15 goals and eight assists across all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.

Out of that tally, he has notched 12 goals and seven assists following the winter break and he is certainly one of the in-form players in Europe at the moment.

Both Chelsea and United have been regularly linked with the German's services this summer but neither are in a position to meet Leverkusen's £90m price tag.

It is now reported by Sport Buzzer that Havertz could be prepared to turn down advances from the duo as Real Madrid remain his ideal future destination.

With the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Los Blancos are unlikely to make a move this summer and it is claimed that Havertz could stay put for another 12 months before sealing his dream move to the Bernabeu.
