AZ Alkmaar are considering making former Tottenham boss Martin Jol their new coach. The Dutchman has been out of work since leaving his role in the Premiership.

  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Gravenberch starts
  • We believe: Amad Diallo reacts after Man Utd's 2-2 draw at Forest

  • Louis Van Gaal is reportedly set to quit the club in the summer, and AZ are keen to hire a high profile boss to take the job.

Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reported the news this morning, and Martin Jol could be set to earn £25,000 a week as the new coach of AZ.

However, there could be rivals for Jol's services as Palermo are also reportedly interested in making Jol their new coach at the end of the season.
