Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has acknowledged that the club came up with a poor performance against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Red Devils recently won 5-0 against RB Leipzig in the Champions League and they headed into the weekend clash with confidence.
However, they were unable to test goalkeeper Bernd Leno with any clear-cut chances and ended up with a disappointing 1-0 defeat.
The Gunners squandered a number of opportunities to find the net, but they eventually scored from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.
Pogba was the culprit for conceding the spotkick after a foul on Hector Bellerin and speaking after the game, he admitted his mistake.
"We know it's a poor performance. Myself, I cannot give a foul away like this. I thought I would touch the ball but I didn't. (I) cost us the goal today with the penalty," He told Sky Sports.
United are currently 15th in the league standings with seven points, nine behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand. They are scheduled to host Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League in midweek.
