Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo has opened the door over a potential deal for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

  • Chelsea asked for Max Dowman during Noni Madueke talks
  • Arsenal ready to pay £40m to sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke

  • The Frenchman has been in-and-out of the starting lineup for the Blues, but he has been recently been effective with eight goals from seven appearances.

Still, there is much speculation regarding his future with his contract expiring on June 30 and he has been linked with a move to the Serie A.

Speaking to DAZN, Pirlo was asked about the possibility of signing Giroud and he was very open and said that the striker 'would be handy'.

The Bianconeri are on the hunt for a target man, who can make the difference off the bench and they have many targets on their radar.

Aside from Giroud, the club have also been credited with an interest in ex-striker Fernando Llorente as well as Graziano Pelle.

The Bianconeri recently returned to winning ways with a 4-1 triumph over Udinese. Still, they are 10 points behind leaders AC Milan with a game in hand.
