West Ham United ready to move for 16-goal La Liga striker

West Ham United will make summer move for Sevilla star

West Ham United ready to move for 16-goal La Liga striker

05 February 2021 - 21:29

West Ham United will make a renewed approach to sign Youssef En-Nesyri at the end of the campaign.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The Hammers sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax during the early phase of the January transfer window, but they could not replace him.

En-Nesyri was obviously the main target for manager David Moyes, but the club's £27m bid fell short of Sevilla's £35m asking price.

According to The Star, the east London outfit will make a fresh move for the marksman when the transfer window reopens.

It is added that Sevilla are expecting another offer from the Hammers, but they are unlikely to lower their price tag.

En-Nesyri has been in fine form for the Andalusian outfit and has bagged a couple of La Liga hat-tricks since the turn of the year.

Overall, he has 16 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions this season and he could be in demand in the summer.

The Hammers may have squandered a wonderful opportunity to sign him with little to no competition this winter.
