RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has the option of joining Bayern Munich, Chelsea or Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
Upamecano signed a new contract with Leipzig last summer, but the deal has a £38m release clause which will become active in June 2021.
The Frenchman has openly stated that he has spoken with clubs and he is expected to leave Leipzig at the end of the season.
According to SportBild, Bayern, Chelsea and Liverpool are in the running to sign Upamecano, who has turned out 139 times for Leipzig.
Bayern are leading the race at the moment with the hierarchy already in contact with the player's agents over a summer deal.
However, the Blues and Reds can't be ruled out of the pursuit after Timo Werner's move to the Premier League last summer.
There has been speculation that the Blues may be willing to pay a higher fee than the buy-out clause to sign the centre-back.
