Manchester United could offer strong competition to Chelsea in the pursuit of Torino striker Andrea Belotti, Tuttosport claims.

  • Belotti has been with Torino for nearly seven seasons, registering a sublime tally of 104 goals and 25 assists from 220 appearances.

The club have been in a relegation battle this term, but Belotti has stood out with 12 goals and six assists from 27 outings.

It was recently claimed that Torino may sell Belotti for just £27m this summer as they look to cut their financial losses.

Chelsea were said to be interested, but they now face fresh competition with United, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan keeping tabs.

The 27-year-old has yet to decide on his next challenge, and the Blues may struggle to convince him without Champions League football.

They are currently one point outside of the top four. They still have the chance of qualifying for the competition by winning it.

Thomas Tuchel's side recently reached the Champions League semi-final after beating Porto by a 2-1 aggregate score.
