Manchester United could land the signature of Andre Silva for around €40m during the summer transfer window.
Silva has been in superb form for Eintracht Frankfurt this term, netting 24 goals from 28 appearances in all competitions.
His fine progress has caught the eye of Barcelona and United, who are both planning to sign new strikers this summer.
According to Bild, there is no release clause in Silva's deal, but Frankfurt could entertain bids from €40m for the Portuguese.
United have identified Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland as their top striker target, but he could cost a staggering €180m.
It is unclear whether they can afford such a sum, and it has been reported that Silva could a low-cost alternative this summer.
The Blaugrana have also been credited with an interest in Haaland, but they may struggle to meet the price tag amid their financial concerns.
Silva has netted 23 goals from 26 Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt. They are currently placed fourth on the table.
