Arsenal have received an injury boost ahead of the Everton game with Martin Odegaard making his return to training.
The Norwegian sustained a knee injury on international duty last month, and that has forced him on the sidelines in recent games.
He returned to light training earlier today, and the club have confirmed that he will be assessed ahead of Friday's league encounter.
Odegaard has made a huge impression since his loan move in January, registering two goals from 13 appearances.
Aside from his scoring contributions, he has also created many chances for his teammates, and has become a firm fan favourite.
The Gunners are seven points behind a European spot in the league, and they face a must-win game against the Toffees.
Shortly after the clash, they will make the trip to Villarreal for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie.
The game will see the reunion of the Gunners with former boss Unai Emery, who took charge of Villarreal last summer.
