Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that he will be without N'Golo Kante and Hakim Ziyech for the Premier League opener.
The Blues recently won the UEFA Super Cup against Villarreal, but it came at a cost with Ziyech dislocating his shoulder in the first half.
Speaking in a press conference today, Tuchel said that Ziyech won't require a surgery, and the club will treat him conservatively.
Meanwhile, N'Golo Kante was surprisingly substituted at the hour mark in midweek, and Tuchel has confirmed that he is a major injury doubt.
Aside from the pair, the west London giants are expected to be without Romelu Lukaku, who became their club-record signing on Thursday.
The Belgian is still under quarantine in the English capital. He is unlikely to join his teammates in training until Monday or Tuesday.
The Blues are scheduled to host Crystal Palace at home tomorrow. The derby will see Patrick Vieira's debut as the Eagles head coach.
