The Ivorian has entered the final 10 months of his Rossoneri deal, and he could leave them for nothing when the season concludes.
He can speak with foreign clubs at the turn of the year, and it is reported that United are among those interested in his services.
The Red Devils are facing the prospect of losing Paul Pogba, who has entered the final year of his contract without a resolution.
He could head for the exit door next summer. There are suggestions that Real Madrid could attempt to negotiate a pre-contract soon.
Hence, the club are looking at potential replacements, and it is claimed that Kessie is one of the players under consideration.
