Liverpool will need to pay a fee of around £67 million in order to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Reds saw the departure of Georginio Wijnaldum after the expiry of his contract this summer, but they did not land a replacement.
They are likely to address the void next year, and reports have claimed that Milinkovic-Savic is a prime target for manager Jurgen Klopp.
According to Calciomercato, the Serie A outfit are not considering the sale of the midfielder, who is contracted until June 2025.
The Serbian is also content with his situation, but he is open to a bigger challenge if Lazio are prepared to sanction his exit.
They are currently no offers. It is reported that the Reds will need to pay at least £67 million to test Lazio's resolve next summer.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the Serbian, who is one of the best box-to-box midfielders in Serie A.
