Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has insisted that Anthony Martial has not asked to leave the club during the January transfer window.
The Frenchman's future with the Red Devils was recently put in doubt after his agent Philippe Lamboley confirmed that he is keen to move on.
However, speaking to the press, Rangnick has dismissed the story by saying that Martial has not indicated his desire to head for the exit door.
He told reporters: "The player hasn't spoken with me or us about it. If he really has the wish to go to another club, it should be the player who informs either the board or myself."
Martial has managed just over 350 minutes of first-team action so far this term. He has been nursing a knee injury recently, but appears unsettled.
He is no longer a guaranteed starter when fit with the vast competition for places. Cristiano Ronaldo has been an undisputed choice up front.
Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are also ahead of him in the pecking order. He could put in a transfer request in the near future.
