Manchester United could be one of the front-runners to sign Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele this summer.
The Frenchman has entered the final five months of his contract, and he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs.
United were heavily linked with a mid-season move for him, but ultimately they did not make any approach.
Despite this, they continue to be associated with his services and Sport claims that he could head to Old Trafford.
Barcelona believe United and Juventus are leading the race to sign Dembele on a free transfer agreement this summer.
The Red Devils are long-term admirers of the 24-year-old. They previously looked to sign him on loan in October 2020.
Injuries have been a prime concern for Dembele since his time at Barcelona, but he is still highly regarded among clubs.
There has been a notable improvement in his injury record, but there continues to remain the risk of him being sidelined.
It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils pursue him. They could part ways with at least two attacking players this summer.
Jesse Lingard will leave on a free transfer while Anthony Martial may also push for a permanent exit after his Sevilla loan stint.
