Barcelona could return for the services of Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani this summer, Fichajes reports.
The Uruguayan was linked with the Catalan giants last month. There were suggestions that he could terminate his United contract.
However, that did not happen in the end. The 35-year-old was happy to see out his deal that expires at the end of the campaign.
The Blaugrana signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal as a result, but they could return for Cavani this summer.
Cavani has no plans of staying with the Red Devils beyond June with the hierarchy already eyeing a young centre-forward.
He has the dream of playing in La Liga before calling time on his career, and the Blaugrana could be his next destination.
Cavani netted 17 goals in his debut campaign for United, but he has scored just two times in all competitions this term.
His game time has drastically reduced after Cristiano Ronaldo's comeback. He has been a regular on the bench this season.
