Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that he will be without Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay for tomorrow's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
Shaw was absent for the Manchester derby last week with coronavirus, and he has not recovered in time for the visit of Antonio Conte's side.
Rangnick has confirmed that he won't play any part on Saturday. Meanwhile, McTominay has also been ruled out with a fresh calf problem.
The Scot recently returned from an illness for the derby, but has now suffered another setback. Rangnick is wary of playing him tomorrow.
United are presently one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal, but the north London giants have a staggering three games in hand over them.
Hence, the Spurs game is a must-win for them. Anything other than victory would further dent their chances of making the top four this term.
It has been reported that United's summer budget could be just £50 million if they are unable to qualify for the elite competition next season.
