Real Madrid have emerged as fresh contenders to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Fichajes.
The Belgium international returned to the Blues from Inter Milan after seven years last summer, but it has not proved worthwhile.
He has amassed just 12 goals over the course of the campaign. He is currently behind Kai Havertz in the pecking order for the striker role.
Amidst this, the 28-year-old is already assessing his options. Fichajes claims that Los Blancos could make an approach for his services.

Los Blancos want a readymade experienced option in the squad. Lukaku has emerged as a potential option for the summer transfer window.
