Cristiano Ronaldo felt he deserved to win the PFA Player of the Year Award he was given on Sunday evening. The Man Utd midfielder had tough competition in Fernando Torres and Emmanuel Adebayor.
"It's obviously a very important award for me," Ronaldo told Sky Sports.
"I have played in England for five years and I have won two times, so it's a fantastic moment for me. I feel very proud to win this ward again and I want to carry on and win more.
"I voted for Adebayor because I think he has had a great season as well. But you have many players who have had a good season - Torres, Fabregas, many players. But I think I deserve to win!"
