Manchester United have been told to pay €35 million to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The Red Devils are eyeing a holding midfielder this summer, but they are not close to signing anyone at the moment.
Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona has been a prime target for United, but the club are yet to sort out a transfer fee.
Even if they do so, there are doubts whether De Jong would join them due to the lack of Champions League football.
Amidst this, L'Equipe claims that United are interested in Paredes, but are unlikely to meet the current price tag.
Les Parisiens want €35m to sell the 28-year-old. United are reluctant to make a bid unless the price is lowered.
Paredes had a difficult 2021/22 season with Les Parisiens. He missed around 20 games of the campaign with injuries.
With two years left on his contract, the club are willing to sell him, but seem adamant to accept a cut-price transfer.
