Chelsea have suffered a big blow with midfielder N'Golo Kante set to be ruled out for one month with a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman suffered the setback during the London derby against Spurs at the weekend where he went down without any contact.
Immediately, it was known that he had a hamstring issue, and TalkSPORT claim that he won't return for one month at least.
The news will come as a huge blow for the Blues, considering the World Cup winner started the season in a terrific fashion.
Kante looked lively in the season opener as well as the derby, but he has become more injury-prone in recent campaigns.
Aside from Kante, Mateo Kovacic has been nursing a knee injury as well, and this could force the Blues to land a new midfielder.
If not, manager Thomas Tuchel could rely on Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in midfield with Conor Gallagher as a back-up.
Gallagher's future with the club is still hanging in the balance.
