Valencia are interested in signing in Arsenal's Brazilian midfielder Gilberto Silva. The player is said to be disappointed at Arsene Wenger's decision to make William Gallas captain.
Gilberto Silva was also disappointed at Arsenal's decision to not purchase Julio Baptista last year; a close friend of Gilberto.
Valencia are primed to make a £5m offer for Gilberto and would offer the player a three-year contract. Gilberto would also link up in midfield with his ex-teammate Edu.
