Inter Milan CEO Beppa Marotta has doubts whether the Nerazzurri will re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea next summer.
The Belgian rejoined the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan from the west London giants without an option to buy.
It seemed that his Blues career was over, but the situation could entirely change with Thomas Tuchel's departure.
Lukaku was critical of Tuchel, who did not play to his strengths, but it may change under new boss Graham Potter.
Amidst this, Marotta has accepted that could hamper Inter's prospects of signing Lukaku permanently next season.
He said: "It's fresh news. I don't know what the effects of the change of coach will be. I don't know if a change of coach means that his return is automatic, it's difficult to predict today."
Lukaku made a bright start on his return to Inter with a goal and an assist from three games before suffering an injury.
He has missed three games on the trot for the San Siro giants, but has been touted to make his comeback by September end.
