Arsenal trio Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey have returned early from international duty this week.
Tomiyasu featured for the whole 90 minutes of Japan's 2-0 friendly win over the United States and he has now returned to London Colney.
The decision was made due to 'club circumstances' which suggest that the Gunners may have instructed Japan to play him for one game.
Meanwhile, Tierney has also reported to the Gunners as he is ruled out of Scotland's next game due to the concussion protocols.
Tierney suffered a blow to his head during the recent 2-1 win over Ireland. While the issue was not serious, he was subbed early.
Aside from the duo, Thomas Partey has likewise travelled back to London following his knee injury scare in training with Ghana.
He was left out of the Brazil friendly as a precaution, and the Gunners have since decided to call him back to assess his situation.
Partey only recently recovered from a thigh injury, and manager Mikel Arteta can ill-afford to lose him ahead of a hectic schedule.
