Manchester United have been credited with an interest in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the New Year.
The Nigerian has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and they could now make a January approach to sign him.
United were initially not planning for a striker in January, but their position has changed after Cristiano Ronaldo\'s latest interview.
Ronaldo recently slammed manager Erik ten Hag and the Glazers, and United are expected to act by terminating his contract.
In response, they are likely to pursue a new striker and The Mirror claim that Osimhen could be a realistic winter target.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Serie A giants this term, registering 10 goals and another three assists.
He is currently playing a key role in their title pursuit, but it is reported that he could be available for £60m this winter.
Osimhen has previously talked about his dream of playing in the Premier League and he should be tempted to join them.
