Chelsea will need to pay a club-record fee to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.
The England international is one of the best upcoming talents in world football and he has been touted to leave Dortmund after this season.
However, he is unlikely to come for cheap and Kicker claim that it would take around €150 million to prise him away.
The Blues are known for their big spending over the years. Romelu Lukaku is currently their most expensive buy at €100m.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues will meet Dortmund's demands next summer. They would also need to convince Bellingham.
The teenager has yet to decide on his next destination. Champions League football could be a key priority for him next season.
As things stand, Chelsea are far off from qualifying for the competition. They are languishing eighth in the Premier League.
They may have to win the Champions League to qualify which appears a tall order, considering their poor run of form recently.
