Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the club are very active in the search for January additions for the squad.
The north London giants have been fantastic during the first half of the campaign and they are five points clear at the top of the league.
The club have entered into an unexpected title race and Arteta will be hoping to make quality signings in January that can improve the squad.
Speaking to reporters yesterday, the Gunners boss said that the club are very active and will try to strengthen the squad with the right players.
He said: "We are looking and we are very active looking at the possibilities. If we can find the players that can strengthen the team we will try."
Arsenal restart their Premier League season with a home game against West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day.
The Gunners have everyone fit barring Gabriel Jesus, who is out for the next three months following a surgery for a knee injury.
