Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is focused on landing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this summer.
The England international has been a key player for the Blues but he has made the decision to move on before next season.
Mount's current deal expires in June next year and he has no desire to put pen-to-paper on a new contract with a pay rise.
United are one of his main admirers and Standard Sport claim that their interest is being driven by the manager.
Ten Hag wanted to land Mount on loan from Chelsea in 2018 and he is now eyeing a permanent move for his services.
Meanwhile, Mount is also eager to work with the Dutchman. He is excited to play Champions League football again.
Chelsea won't be featuring in the elite competition next term. They have been pretty poor in the Premier League.
The Blues are currently 12th with just 43 points on the board. They face Newcastle United in the final gameweek.
