Arsenal are prepared to step up their interest in signing Ajax winger Mohammed Kudus in the coming weeks.

The Gunners have already spent over £200 million on new signings, and they are now focusing on recouping funds from sales.

Once the progress is complete, Kudus is expected to be their next target with manager Mikel Arteta eyeing more quality on the right wing.

Bukayo Saka has been an undisputed starter on the right flank for the Gunners, but the club have lacked quality support behind him.

Quite often, the England sensation has played through 90 minutes of games. Arsenal have had no suitable option to change the dynamic.

Kudus would be a top-class signing for the Gunners. He can play on the right wing, but can also operate up front or in the number 10 role.

He is very strong when it comes to dribbling and winning duels in the final third. Last season, he bagged 18 goals and seven assists for Ajax.
