Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has urged the club to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.
The Frenchman joined Los Blancos from Monaco for €100m last summer, and he made 50 appearances in all competitions for them.
Despite playing a huge role, his future at the club has been put in doubt amid their interest in signing Kylian Mbappe in the coming weeks.
The La Liga giants are looking to recoup funds to land Mbappe and Tchouameni could be one of those heading for the exit door.
Amidst this, Ten Hag has urged United's board to pull off the transfer of Tchouameni. The Red Devils could be willing to pay €100m.
United are not alone in the race to sign the youngster and they could face competition from Bayern Munich if they lose Joshua Kimmich.
Kimmich has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona. If he were to leave the club, they could step up their interest in Tchouameni.
