Arsenal have suffered a huge blow with midfielder Thomas Partey ruled out for six weeks, according to Daily Mail.
The Ghanaian was absent for the Premier League clash against Manchester United after picking up a groin injury.
Mikel Arteta did not provide the extent of the damage, but it has now been confirmed that he is out for six weeks.
The news is a huge setback for the Gunners, who will be without Partey for at least seven games in all competitions.
They have more depth in the number six role with Declan Rice, Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny, but Partey will be a miss.
Rice operated from the defensive midfield spot on Sunday, but he could have played higher up if Partey was fit.
Arsenal have made a good start to the Premier League season and they are currently on 10 points after four games.
They face Everton in their next fixture on the road. The game at Goodison Park will be played after the internationals.
