Arsenal are open to parting ways with Emile Smith Rowe during the January transfer window, according to Mirror.
The club graduate has had a tough time with the first-team squad and he has barely featured off the bench in the Premier League.
His situation looks unlikely to improve soon and it is claimed that the club could open the door for his departure this winter.
Smith Rowe has played only 157 minutes this term and it is reported that Mikel Arteta won't come in the way of a January exit.
Aston Villa have been long-term admirers of him and they have already failed with a couple of approaches for his signature.
The Villains are likely to make a fresh move in the New Year and they could be signed joined by rivals Newcastle United.
Smith Rowe is also likely to attract interest from overseas clubs. Borussia Dortmund could be possible candidates to sign him.
Arsenal may ideally prefer to sell him abroad, considering Villa and Newcastle are genuine contenders for the top four.
