Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade has opened the door to leaving the club in January amid interest from Liverpool.
The Brazilian was a top target for the Merseyside outfit over the summer but Fluminense were reluctant to lose him midway through the campaign.
As a result, the club ended up signing Ryan Gravenberch instead but the Reds are still lacking the presence of a specialist holding midfielder.
It is now reported that Jurgen Klopp's side are planning a fresh move for him in January and Andre is likely to welcome the transfer.
Fluminense have yet to set an asking price but reports claim that he could be prised away for a fee of around €25 million.
Arsenal are also interested in signing the 22-year-old, but Andre could prefer to join the Reds after agreeing personal terms.
He may not have the guarantee of a starting role with the Gunners due to the presence of Declan Rice, Jorginho as well as Thomas Partey.
